Really great selection and very helpful staff

First time trying this bakery as staying locally at a certified location campsite. Absolutely best quiche and sausage roll we have had in ages. We wish we could go back for more but have moved to Whitby. We hope to return to Dunnington soon and will visit Pattacakes again. Sorry no photos as we ate every last crumb 😋

I have been coming here for years. This is the highlight of my work trips to Dunnington. Everything they sell is superb. The pastry on the sausage rolls is to die for, the white sourdough bread is amazing I always buy one or two to take home. The club sandwich (chicken, bacon, avocado, Mayo and lettuce) on granary is the clear winner. It’s what dreams are made of. This place is not diet friendly as I want to devour everything. The scotch eggs are as big as your head and lush, the cakes are filthy good. Do not miss this place. Absolutely mint. The lasses behind the counter are good craic too. Hats off.

Was working nearby this morning and called in mid morning for a sandwich. Had the best bacon and tomato sandwich I've had for many a year. Proper Breadcake and crisp tasty bacon from kind friendly staff. Thank you.

Nice lityoe village cafe, the hot sandwiches weren't the best, the sausages had a texture that hinted at them being microwaved, but their cakes and bakery items were excellent. Especially the brie quiche.

Absolutely love this bakery. Friendly and helpful staff. Love their hot breakfast sandwich, sausage and tomatoe in granary bread. Oh and their freshly baked sun dried tomatoe bread is to die for. Never seen so many delicious cakes and pastries.

Delightful village bakery, well worth travelling to. Great range of breads, savouries and sweets. We particularly liked the chilli scotch egg and the mediterranean veg roll on our last visit

Looks a bit out of place in Dunnington, it appears to be more a Peckham Hipster hangout than rural Yorkshire bakery :-) A really great place, the food is all fresh, well made, great flavours and clearly popular as there's always a queue (even considering social distancing)... a great addition to the village
